Shaw House plays host to a diverse range of Artists as part of Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire 2026. United by their love of, and inspiration by nature, the Artists at Shaw House work in a mix of media to create objects of beauty, to be admired and used.
The Artists at Shaw House are:
Anne Sayer, who creates tactile pieces in glass and is drawn to the fascinating alchemy of glass where, when heated, the chemicals in different glasses, metals and oxides, react together to create truly unique pieces.
Tee Stevenson, whose passion for nature is celebrated in her botanical style illustrations. Inspired by the flora and foliage around her, Tee’s biophilic designs are created for homeware, accessories, and gifts.
Sandra McArdle, a silversmith and jeweller who works in silver and gold to create an object of beauty and is constantly amazed at the way in which the metals respond as they are heated and worked, to create that final piece.
Susie, Pots of Hope, a ceramicist whose flow-state work is imbibed with the mantra of hope. Mind, body, spirit and soul bring the unequivocally beautiful and beautifully useful nature of ceramics into being.
Tessa Kirby, whose art is informed by nature in all its forms, the way light falls on objects, trees, flowers the whole landscape; capturing the many moods in nature.
