Demi has a particular passion for classic architecture and beautiful character buildings. She draws in incredibly high detail, concentrating on the contrasts of light and shadow to create a realistic finished drawing.
She works in a variety of mediums, including gold leaf, Indian ink pen, pencil and watercolours on fine art paper.
Each piece is a labour of love, with hours of meticulous work going into building of the layers of colour or ink to achieve the desired effect.
She works as a full time artist, from her home studio at the end of her garden.
Demi recently wrote and illustrated a book called 'Drawing and Illustrating Architecture'. Signed copies will be available during the 'Open Studios' event.
