In 2024 Artists at the Chapel (Isabel Carmona, Helen Long and Kate Steele) will return tot he chapel at Newtown Road Cemetery during May 2024 each with work in development from their current practice.

Isabel has been working on ink and watercolour working on landscapes both real and imagined. Late in 2023 she took part on a experimental drawing retreat in the Italian Alps looking for new sources of inspiration.

Kate has been working largely in charcoal this year, exploring the natural beauty of the local countryside aiming to capture the character of our environment and how it works its magic instilling peace and tranquillity.

Helen's current work seeks to remind us of the beauty and fragility of the sea and her creativity stems from exploring the relationship between people and their environment.
