I paint mainly animals and landscapes. Just as animals do not possess the power of speech painting and drawing does not as a rule use words to communicate . I find this to be an interesting theme . Last year I was awarded the Geoffrey Vivas art prize by the Royal Society of British Artists for my picture 'Pug" which was exhibited and sold at the Mall Gallery in London . I use various materials in my work Oils , Acrylics , Pastels , pen and ink , watercolour , charcoal , crayon and pencil .
