Angela is a painter, poet and patchwork maker. She studied at Winchester School of Art and is based in West Berkshire in a wooded area where she absorbs inspiration from the natural world around her. The focus of her painting is jointly between rivers/sea (where she grew-up) and the land, the memories they evoke and the blend between them. Tones of black and greys, blues, yellow ochre and the movement, tension and atmosphere, capturing the spirit. She usually has an idea featuring nature then explores the concept into her paintings, installation or print. Working in acrylic Angela leans towards abstraction.
