Angela is a poet and artist. She studied at Winchester School of Art and is based in West Berkshire in a wooded area where she absorbs inspiration from the natural world around her. The focus of her paintings is jointly between rivers/sea (where she grew-up) and the land, the memories they evoke and the blend between them. Colour tones of greys blues, yellow ochre and the movement, tension and atmosphere, capturing the spirit. She usually has an idea featuring nature then explores the concept into her paintings, installation or print. Working in acrylic Angela leans towards abstraction.
