I taught myself to draw and paint. Favourite medium is pencil and animals and landscape are my favourite subjects. It is fascinating to create an image on a white sheet of paper using just a graphite pencil and no colour. I also love watercolour and have worked with mixed media including acrylics and oil pastels. Nature is my inspiration and it is when I need colour that I turn to watercolour for landscape and acrylic for flowers like poppies. I am constantly trying new ways to work and new combinations.
