I taught myself to draw and paint. My favourite medium is pencil and animals are a favourite subject. It is fascinating to create an image on a white sheet of paper using just a graphite pencil and no colour. With every pencil stroke, I try to breathe life into my drawings.
Although pencil drawing is my first love, I also love watercolour and have worked with mixed media including acrylics and oil pastels. Nature is my inspiration and it is when I need colour that I turn to watercolour and acrylic for landscape . I am constantly trying new ways to work and new combinations.
