I am predominantly a landscape artist, but paint various subjects in most media to keep my work fresh and to develop new techniques. Currently I am working in acrylic inks and watercolours and love how these work together. I have been inspired by the stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands and Islands - especially Arran and Skye, so I will have a selection of atmospheric landscapes and seascapes of this area on display. I also paint colourful impressionist landscapes of hills and wildflower meadows in acrylics, which are based on plein air sketches of the local Berkshire and Hampshire countryside.
