At Sadie Brockbank's studio this year you will be able to see her continuing exploration of the medium of ceramic sculpture, as well as her lino cuts and some new textile work. Sadie's recent monochromatic 'Owl' ceramics depict larger than life owls perched on overgrown cities - showing the wonderful way that nature returns to take over and inhabit our leftovers. Arks have also been a familiar symbol in Sadie's work, linking to thoughts of preservation and rescue. Other enduring themes are the connectedness of all life forms, as expressed by her 'Deer Copse' series, her monoprints and her textile work.
