Helen Long works in porcelain, making one-off pieces which have visual and tactile impact. Her work reflects the natural world, with soft, organic shapes and colours.
Helen studied ceramics at UCA Farnham, graduating in 2020 with honours. She works from her studio in Cold Ash, Berkshire.
The oceans of the world are undergoing tumultuous changes due to climate change, overfishing and the dumping of plastic waste. Helen’s work this year draws inspiration from the natural beauty and wonder of our oceans in an effort to highlight these issues.
