I have always been drawn to details; to patterns, shapes, colour, texture, to finding beauty in the most ordinary of things, as well as trying to capture the spectacular! My subject matter spans everything from architecture and man-made objects to nature and the elements and the resulting images often appear as abstract or semi abstract compositions. I enjoy the interplay of colour and how it sits within the composition, but some pieces demand the bold simplicity of black and white and I enjoy working with this too.
