I am primarily an abstract painter. My art does not attempt to represent external reality but attempts to achieve its effects by using shapes, forms, colours and textures. I primarily paint with acrylic paint but use other drawing materials as welI as layers of paint. I believe that art is a great leveller, teaching us that we can be soothed, calmed and provoked by art.
