Art disciplines: Printmaking

I’m a printmaker, mostly working with linocut to make layered relief prints. Along side this, I’m developing a series of smaller etchings and collagraphs.

The natural world inspires me: the landscapes of the North Wessex Downs and places I’ve explored further afield. I’m drawn to the movement and rhythm in those environments, which I express in my prints through bold carved lines and layers of harmonious colour.

Showing my work has become an important part of what I do, with recent exhibitions in Hampshire and Berkshire. I also enjoy taking part in local craft fairs, where I share hand-printed pieces which include limited edition prints, cards, and small accessories.
