Gail Davis is a contemporary British painter based in Berkshire with a background in art and design.

Influenced by Abstract expressionism and how it relies on the medium and composition to communicate, along with Gail’s biggest artistic influence, her grandfather and his portrayal of realism, she enjoys merges them to create a means of self-expression and story telling.
Gail’s current body of work is about exploring the power of human emotion.
Psychology and philosophy is a dominant theme in most of Gail’s art; she is an explorer in her world of oils, encompassing both positive and emotional responses from the viewer, often depicting her own unusual past within her paintings through colour and subject.
