Erica is a basketmaker who has an interest in a wide range of materials including willow, which she grows near to her studio, and rush that she harvests herself in somerset. Making traditional baskets some being highlighted as endangered skills on the red list of the heritage craft association, in particular straw skeps, which she also uses in her bee keeping. She will be showing basketry both traditional and sculptural.
