My body of work in photography is mainly botanical. Staged, sometimes theatrical but always painterly. I worked as a fine art photographer for many years photographing paintings for Christie's and Art Uk, so lighting is key for me especially the use of the Chiaroscuro technique. My greatest influences are the dutch old masters.
I'm currently working with Polymer photogravure's which is photo-printmaking technique that uses light-sensitive polymer plates to create an image that is then printed using traditional etching techniques. It works well with my illusions on whether my images are photographs or a painted images.
