I am exploring the natural world through drawing with wire. It is the organic quality and movement of the wire that attracts me.
The process of creating a line in space is developed into a 3-D object or an extension of a wall based piece.
I am also experimenting with contrasting the reflective colour of copper with coloured inks; playing with the fluidity and spontaneous process of painting.

Flora completed an MA in Sculpture from Winchester School of Art in 1998 and has since undertaken commissions and exhibitions widely across the UK, as well as teaching in adult education and leading a variety of workshops.
