For me drawing is fundamental to my practice. Sketchbooks are a constant and inform much of the work whether travelling, walking the dogs, or working out a new direction of interest. Invaluable for recording ideas and documenting progress, the sketchbooks will be available for people to browse alongside the paintings should you visit.
Paintings vary in size, media and content. I am preoccupied with the landscape and the natural world. Still life subjects usually include found objects, flowers, and often the sensation of being part of the landscape beyond.
