Art disciplines: Drawing and painting

Christine works primarily in acrylics, painting a wide range of land and seascapes inspired by her childhood in the Yorkshire Dales and her travels around the coast of the UK. Her style has moved more towards semi-abstraction over the years and she aims to capture the feeling of space and wildness found in open moors and wild coastline. Sometimes the subjects are of a particular view but often they are a blend of impressions of a place and the emotions it inspires.
