During the week we will be painting animals both wild, and not so wild. The emphasis will be on capturing the essence of a variety of creatures ranging from the delicate and colourful to the wild and fearsome, and a lot of others in between. We will be examining movement and gestures and the emphasis will be on loose and spirited brushwork. From photographic reference, you will have the opportunity to portray such diverse animals from a flamingo to a grizzly bear, and from a domestic cat to a tiger. You will be able to paint those that interest you, and you will be given plenty of demonstrations and encouragement along the way. A course for all levels of experience.
