The Ceramics courses are very skill level specific and this one is aimed at Improvers only.
This course is open to anyone who wishes to improve their existing Ceramic skills. It is NOT suitable for complete beginners.

The aim of this course is to assist students in developing their individual skill through practical demonstrations and individual/group discussions.
This course will involve:
Applying construction techniques
Explaining basic glaze chemistry
Designing, developing and using glazes appropriately
Applying designs using porcelain clay
Executing specific design briefs
Using different medium with confidence.
Each student will have their own individual design brief developed between themselves and the tutor. This may include areas such as: Constructing domestic ware or glaze chemistry for sculptural work as well as domestic projects.
