Drama and atmosphere can be created in a number of ways in watercolour, and we will be experimenting with a variety of techniques that convey different moods, from the enigmatic to the dramatic, and from the hot to the cold. We will be painting skies using the wet-in-wet method as well as on dry paper to convey different weather conditions. You will be shown how to suggest distance in a landscape or seascape and several ways in which colour, tone and composition can establish the mood of a painting. A workshop for all levels of experience.
