My work is driven by themes of 'text / texture / landscape' with storytelling at its heart.
Words came off the page to create their own forms in ceramic scripts. Some in wall mounted pieces, others in standalone 'poem vessels' showing how, like coracles, our stories travel with us.
Walking the downlands and coastlines of southern England, picking up a pebble, looking at ripples in the sand, familiar themes have re-emerged in my work and evolve with time's spiral into new, hand-held forms.
