I live and work in North Hampshire exploring the Landscape on foot and in paint. I spend a lot of time looking at the sky in wonder, marvelling at endless procession of clouds, watching the light change the landscape. My contemporary paintings are expressive responses to observed situations, and fleeting moments. I never tire of visiting familiar places they change dramatically according to the time of year and the weather. I create spontaneous paintings using brushes, knives, and a variety of tools including fingers, to create interesting arrangements of exciting colour and texture. I relish the seasonal moods and changes of the landscape, and create my paintings in tune with the seasons.
