My Retrospective of Ten years making Lino Prints from country walks, with many Colourful years painting Silks on Etsy. These now have become bolder Night sky batiks, and metre square paintings inspired by researching amazing star formations. The Newer Embroideries are created, using Vintage linens & often joining smaller artworks from my Archive. Creating with Recycled fabrics and freehand machine Embroidery is often an experiment in thread, weaving something exciting like magic in reverse stitching, not quite knowing where my needle will take me nor stop.
I continue to make Original Prints, most often Lino prints drawn from sketchbooks over many years. The human figure litters my Notebooks as well as floral designs & the sketches of Musicians at recent Concerts we have listened to together.
