Resident at her sustainable studio pod in Jelly, Reading, Helen has had the opportunity to focus on her art making, alongside a supportive and enthusiastic team. Jelly has provided a unique cocoon-like space to ponder and explore, in the midst of a vibrant, busy shopping centre. Helen has explored rusting metal to create natural pigment and layered this with Indian ink glazes. Experimenting with colour, marks and form, images of containing spaces have emerged.
