From play-dough and poster paint to bronze and glazed ceramics somehow I still feel like a child at play but with more grown-up materials. I like to think that my bronze animals could walk away as they are so life-like and have a spirit of their own making. My ceramic sculpture explores imaginative and semi abstract shapes as I supersize cellular structures from human micro-biology or focus on the exotic shapes of carnivorous plants.
I am Newbury born and bred, passionate about the Open Studio organisation and opportunities it provides. I studied at St Barts school, did a Foundation course at Winchester Art College and Fine Art Degree (with Hons) at Cheltenham Art College. Commissions include the trophies for the Barclay's Women's Super League as well as a Chinese God, a Labrador, elephants and many more.
