Peace for me starts with the Mighty Oak, I love to walk through ancient woods and quietly open my heart and soul to all the sights and sounds.
Though the subject matter of my work might vary, there will always be a root to the natural world.

I take my Inspiration from the colours, textures and creatures of our natural world that are deeply entwined with ancient symbols of English myth and magic. Intricate vein patterns on a leaf, dappled light on a woodland path or the movement of the breeze through the canopy of the woods

Clay is my chosen medium, natural and versatile it allows me to create texture, colour and movement. I start with fragments of an idea and then as the work develops I begin to work instinctually to allow the piece find its own path.

Above all, whatever the end result I create a celebration of the magic within the natural world
