Having always had a love of animals and nature it is easy to find subjects for my paintings although as an instinctive artist I never know what is going to inspire me. I try to capture the atmosphere of the landscape around me even if, as in Africa, it is necessary to paint from photographs.
Most of my work has been with watercolour and more recently acrylics but I look forward to experimenting with oils.
