Hello and welcome!

I make art that incorporates collage, text, colour and printing with a large dollop of abstraction. I sometimes use resin as a gloss finish and enjoy finding new ways to 'present' artwork for the wall.

I am inspired, like many, of the natural world around us and the way that it changes over time. My camera reel is usually fully of photos of rusty machinery or closeups of mouldy vegetables. Which all sits alongside my fascination with my own physical aging changes and watching my young children grow and change. This all sounds rather morbid, but actually I think beautiful at every stage - and so I want to translate this feeling into colour and expression through making art.

By day I am a Picture Framer and I run classes teaching people how to frame & mount. This is where my love for alternative mounting and passion for the perfect display of artwork comes from. There will be demonstrations and workshops running at Open Studio exhibition in May 2023.
