I love to continuously experiment with new mediums. This year I have started working with ceramics. This is a new experience for me and I am loving the process of seeing where it takes me. However, that does not detract from my love of painting and pastel drawing. I am inspired mostly the natural world. I tend to bring strong colours into most things I do.
My edible art can take me in any direction, according to the brief. I love to sculpt in cake and make create unique works that are centre pieces for any desired occasion. I have a separate website for this: https://www.cakeartbyjulia.com

In addition to my main activities my studio is always full of little crafted gems, such as ceramic jewellery, scented candles and hand drawn notecards.
