Suzie began painting at a young age alongside her mother's easel. With art in her blood, her passion for painting wildlife, animals and wild places has grown from a lifetime spent among horses and dogs while living in the countryside. Working in oils, her contemporary and often 'larger than life' painting style has won Suzie commissions from across the UK and Europe. Hares, game birds, horses and hounds are among her favourite subjects, bringing light, life and personality to her work.
Living and working in Linkenholt, a hamlet high up on the North Wessex Downs, Suzie's studio and gallery is located in a converted barn on the Test Way. With so much inspiration on her doorstep, Suzie regularly takes her easel outdoors to paint 'en plein air'. As well as being drawn to wild landscapes, Suzie grew up by the coast and can't ignore the call of the sea. She makes regular trips to her ancestral roots in Cornwall where she paints both seascapes and wildlife.
