I graduated from Bath University with a BA Hons (Drawing for Fine Art Practice) in 2011, and my work has been shown in several exhibitions including The Bite Exhibition at the Mall Galleries London,The Greenham Common Open Exhibition New Greenham Arts, Newbury (Joint Winner), The Bath Open and Rabley Print Exhibition, Rabley Drawing Centre, Marlborough, 'You Can't Kill the Spirit' solo exhibition July - September 2019 Greenham Common Control Tower.
Alongside my drawing practice, I became more involved in printmaking, experimenting with a multi-process approach, discovering endless possibilities. In have employed various processes including photopolymer-gravure etching with blind embossing, screenprints, reduction woodcuts, lino cuts, and drypoint.
Looking for a safer and more sustainable approach to printmaking that utilises non-toxic techniques I am currently discovering the flexibility and immediacy of the collagraph process, that applies simple, modest and low-tech methods and is uniquely specific to my intent and visual language. Adding viscosity inking to the process can give interestingly rich prints. My inspiration comes from personal experiences and the world around me.
