We at Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire are always looking for new artists and we welcome new applications for accreditation. Artists who are committed to any of the visual arts, crafts, design or wider media such as film, architecture, fashion, textiles, photography and digital media can apply to join us.

You need to be accredited by us before you register to exhibit as part of OSWBNH.

For 2024 the Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire dates are 4 May to 27 May 2024 
NOTE: If you want to exhibit in 2024 you need to be accredited by mid October 2023 at the latest to be able to register as an exhibiting artist before the closing deadline.

Currently we have over 300 accredited artists in the scheme, from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of disciplines. Many have undertaken art school or university training, but this is not necessary.
The main requirement is a strong commitment to a particular art form or forms, a working space suitable to show good practice, that is to say - your use of materials, sources of inspiration and sketchbooks along with a sound body of work. The Open Studios annual registration fee for an Accredited Artist to have their own entry on this website and the companion guide is currently £125.

To register your interest in joining the scheme and applying for Accreditation, please complete the New Artists Application Form below and return it to admin@open-studios.org.uk as soon as possible. Along with the application form applicants should send in a current CV, an artistic statement and six photos of recent work.
You can apply to be accredited at any time in the year, your first exhibiting year will depend on when you get accredited.
