The Japanese Garden will be transformed into a magnificent Sculpture Exhibition comprising of work by 14 artists of the Open Studios including Marie Ackers, Diccon Dadey and Paul Harvey. It would be a special opportunity to see such a variety of sculptural forms in such a stunning setting. Donnington Grove Hotel is a charming gothic style mansion built in 1766. Bygone days have seen illustrious and eccentric inhabitants such as British historian James Petit Andrews, Beau Brummell and Daisy Fellowes.

From central Newbury take A4 westwards. After Approx 2 km, turn right opposite the Hare and Hounds pub. At T-junction turn right into Grove Road. Entrance is about 1/4 mile along the left. The walled Japanese Garden is on the right just before the house.
