Smoke & Fire Studio

Celebrating Ceramics

Work by ceramicist Christine Lack and her students

Christine is once again opening her Smoke & Fire Studio, workshop and garden to the public as an exhibition celebrating ceramics. You are invited to look round her selling exhibition in the house and enjoy a cup of tea and cake while you're there.

Stroll through the garden to Christine's studio where you can look through her sketchbooks and drawings: in the adjoining workshop and teaching area you will find the students' exhibition. A colourful and interesting mix of styles, inspiration and individual creativity - all expressed through the medium of clay. Many pieces are available for sale.

Come and see the wonderful "Flora & Fauna" garden sculptures that have been inspired by Christine and designed and created by her students as a joint project to raise funds for BBOWT Wildlife Trust. The sculptures will all be for sale except one which will be raffled during the weekend. Tickets available at the exhibition.

If you've always wanted to try working with clay come and have a go at our making table where you can add your own piece to a totem pole. Christine runs regular ceramic workshops throughout the year and runs speciality weekend smoke firing courses.
