Born South African, naturalised here at 20, I studied Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art then History of Art, teaching art and training at Goldsmiths - leading most significantly to my 30 years as Senior Art therapist in forensic psychotherapy.

Inspired by many artists painting’s full time for me. Van Gogh, Margeurite Dumas, Rauschenberg, Bomberg, Nash and Picasso (‘I don’t seek; I find’).

For me it’s about expressing my voice; a kind of rediscovery and building on the past. My aim’s always to reassess what I see often through abstraction and metaphor. Through my art I explore life experiences in the spotlight, looking beyond surfaces”.
