Influenced by Abstract expressionism and her love of realism, Gail merges them to create a means of self-expression and story telling.
Gail's current body of work is about exploring the power of human emotion, trust and self belief.
Psychology and philosophy is a dominant theme in most of Gail’s art; she is an explorer in her world of oils, encompassing both positive and emotional responses from the viewer.
Most recently Gail was asked by Sky to star in her own Master Class episode teaching Life Drawing on Sky Arts.
Gail’s work has been exhibited in the Mall Galleries and galleries around Berkshire, including the following:
The Society of Woman Artists 162nd Annual Exhibition 2023
Chosen for the Ruth Borchard self-portrait prize 2023 - Highly Commended Artworks.
The Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) Annual Exhibition 2020 - Jan 2021.
