Working from her studio at her cottage in the North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty, Mel finds plenty to inspire her work from the surrounding countryside. Often covering subjects from British endangered wildlife and local landscapes, Mel also takes inspiration from world wild animals. Working mainly in acrylics and often with textured media, Mel captures the image in her own unique modern realist style.
