I trained at Central St Martins and have an Honours degree in Fine Art Ceramics. I taught Art at St Bartholomew's School, Newbury for many years before building The Cloud Studio in my garden. Here you can view the collection of my work and the development of my ideas since 2006. I use thrown and hand built techniques to produce pieces both functional and sculptural.
My latest works are rather different. They are essentially two dimensional, not three dimensional and take the form of a panel. I'm working on impressed designs of mining villages, where houses seem to be on top of each other, or in long terraced rows. This is a development from the designs I made on the pocket vases of 2022. You can see some of them in my Portfolio.
I shall be demonstrating different techniques on Friday 12th and 26th May.
