My name is Jason Leggett and I'm a Glass Artist working with fused, copper foiled and blown glass techniques.

I run glass fusing workshops for children and adults and offer adult workshops in copper foiling at my studio in Mortimer. 

I have had the privilege of working collaboratively with all the students at 3 x local primary/junior schools and completed 3 x installations within each of the schools. I get a lot of pleasure when working with all my students in introducing them to the wonderful medium of Glass and feel that the many of them gain from having the opportunity to be creative. I believe it's very therapeutic and beneficial for everyone to have the opportunity to be creative and make something they can call their own.    

I have only recently purchased a glass blowing furnace and have started to experiment by using fusing glass to make blown glass pieces. This has enabled me to utilise my scrap glass in the furnace and produce products for other fused glass artists that are not readily available from any other sources. This is a very exciting new venture for me, and I hope to be able to take the glass blowing equipment out on the road to offer demonstrations in the next year.
