Tessa and Shirley are delighted to be exhibiting at Sandham Memorial Chapel this year.
Tessa Kirby, Nature, light and colour inspire my work. Mostly landscapes but still lifes and people as well. Water, shadows and reflections in various media let me explore the emotional response to my subject matter. I hope to be painting in the garden of the chapel during our opening times, so do come and see us both.
Shirley Eccles. I am a glass artist exploring a variety kiln forming techniques. My work is mainly conceptual and focuses on the symbolism of the materials, the presence of light and the interplay of contrasts. I explore themes in my work including memory history and loss. I will also be exhibiting some of my silver jewellery.
