Shirley continues to offer something new and refreshing by pushing the boundaries in Kiln Formed Glass. By combining glass with delicate silverware, she creates functional and decorative pieces. Shirley has also extended the use of frit, stringers and art glass to create innovative drop-out vases and bowls.

Shirley is a well-known glass artist and tutor at The Base, Ardington School of Crafts, Micklems Farm and Buckingham Highcrest Adult Education College. She shares her skills and creative energy through demonstrations and workshops on various kiln-forming glass techniques.

Shirley will, once again, be hosted by Anna McLean at Braziers Farmhouse. The beautiful cottage garden might inspire your own creativity as you enjoy the exhibition. Free demonstrations of glass fusing techniques will be give on Fridays (11am). Light refreshments will be available during the opening times.
