A New Beginning :

After years of using gesso, gilding, lacquer and papier-mache, familiar Renaissance techniques which were the basis of my degree, I am
now taking these same processes in a new direction.

Using papier-collage, fibreboard and marine ply with paint, gesso and silver leaf, I am making a series of semi-abstracted "assemblages"
which have no conventions, no boundaries and infinite possibilities. Please come and see ....

Though my gilded and painted mirrors, boxes and bowls will be part of the exhibition too.
