Rookery Farm Studio

Drawing, Painting, Mixed media
Surrounded by a wonderful rural environment, Sharon continues to enjoy her experimental approach to painting. Reflecting on the landscape, Lake and its inhabitants. Particularly the birds. Visitors to Rookery Farm Studio can also enjoy the garden, views and plant sale in aid of The Air Ambulance.
A combination of Birds and Art Deco form the inspiration for most of my work. Sculpture for both garden and home, made from cold cast metals, cast marble, cast stainless steel and bronze, with prices from £225 to £22,000.
Jan continues to enjoy creating her Pods for the garden, inspired by her walks in Savernake Forest with its decomposing but still stately rotting tree trunks. This year, however, she has returned to her roots and is developing her plate theme. This also reflects her fascination with nature and texture. Jan is delighted to be exhibiting at Rookery Farm again, a venue that suits her work so well.

Mixed media, Textiles
This year I have continued my experimentation with mono-screen printing, layering the results, and adding stitch and drawing to create images reflecting the mood of places I have visited. I have also been working with ink and acrylic on paper, drawing into this with stitch creating images to capture and reflect the light.
Textiles, Traditional crafts
I love making scarves. This year I was inspired by English cottage gardens. The flowers such as roses, peony, hollyhock influence my design development for Spring/Summer 2019 scarf collection.
