Rookery Farm Studio
Drawing, Painting, Mixed media
Birds, beaches and buildings have sparked a need for Sharon to explore and experiment with mixed media this year. She has produced an eclectic body of work which she hopes you will enjoy.
Drawing, Painting, Printmaking
A largely autobiographical body of work engaging with the nuances of daily life, exploring the relationship between interior and exterior spaces through colour and composition. The collection on display at Rookery Farm Studio includes oil painting, etching and drawings from the past and present. Helen has studied at Falmouth College of Art, UWE, and The Royal Drawing School and currently works out of a studio in Highclere.
Jan enjoys developing her 'Pod' theme, taking her inspiration from the decomposing but still stately trees that she sees during her frequent walks in Savernake Forest. The sculptural forms are robust and frost resistant making them suitable for exterior and interior display. Jan is delighted once again to be exhibiting at Rookery Farm, a venue that suits her work so well.
Mixed media, Textiles
My work is inspired by nature, light and the atmosphere of places I visit. I colour and print papers and textiles then distort, layer and combine them to produce semi-abstract pieces. Scale often indicates objects that catch my eye as I walk, rather than reflecting realistic perspective.
