With 20 years of commercial studio and portrait experience, Mark has embraced the digital revolution and successfully expanded his portfolio towards fine art photography. Drawing from the historic countryside surrounding his home, Mark has produced photographs of stimulating and challenging landscapes presented in fresh and unexpected ways.

A vaporous sky and blazing hot day suck the moisture from the Earth. The viewer explores the tracks which dominate this image. The abandoned London to Bath road leads through it with the ancient Wansdyke running across the ridge.

"It is just a question of seeing the potential for an interesting image in a local landscape and waiting for the precise moment when light and composition unite."
Mark will be showing a larger collection of his work in a joint exhibition with Melissa Cole, artist blacksmith, at Puthall Farm near Marlborough.
