The amazing Egyptian Treasures at Highclere Castle provide the focal point for our 2011 education project. Imagine the excitement to be at Highclere where the Downton Abbey television series was filmed and to see incredible works of art from 3-5,000 years ago. Theatre artist Tim Godwin and sculptor Nick Garnet are working with 21 family members from 2 primary schools, Chieveley county primary school and Curridge primary school. Adults and young people are learning side by side in practical workshops inspired by the treasures.
