Family Learning has been a recurring theme in our education projects over the last 10 years. Our residencies heve been distinguished by the leadership of artists from the West Berkshire region and beyond. Young people and their parents or carers have worked side by side, learning new skills together and then cascading their knowledge to wider groups.

Many primary, secondary and special schools have been involved to explore environmental issues, historical references and exciting locations through combined arts. In 2008, Open Studios linked with the Corn Exchange to work with dancer Kirin Martin, Sculptor Johannes von Stumm and actor Jon Spooner for a residency Communication.
